Objective

As our company continues to grow, it is imperative that new positions can evolve to absorb mission-critical responsibilities. This role will be instrumental in organizing, documenting, and executing essential tasks surrounding process and project management. A successful PM possesses the ability to diagnose pain points and independently create lightweight, efficient processes and procedures which will set the foundation for continued organizational growth. Our goal is to find a PM candidate with an accounting background or, at least, a strong familiarity with business accounting practices and concepts. We are seeking an individual who has a strong foundation and is ready to move into a challenging role that will push them to achieve their potential and diversify their skillset. This position will be awarded a phenomenal opportunity to grow within our organization while enhancing skills in multiple professional competencies.

Responsibilities

  1. Own the internal day-to-day responsibilities within these core competencies while working with both internal and external resources on larger projects.
  2. Create and manage (individually or as part of a team) project proposals, forecasts, financial analysis, routine financial reports, Master Schedules, and project task delegation.
  3. Target opportunities to create functional frameworks for recurring tasks and schedules related to Projects and general business practices.
  4. Act as internal Point of Contact for most, if not all, Accounting and Project related matters.
  5. Assess areas for improvement and assist in developing resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer-satisfaction goals and objectives.
  6. Gain an understanding of the business and customer priorities and expedite processing and coordination, as necessary.
  7. Work with internal and external resources to ensure compliance with various government regulations.

Skills

  1. 1-5 years of professional work experience preferably related to business accounting or project management.
  2. Bachelors Degree in a relevant field, with a GPA of at least 3.5. A Minor or a degree in Accounting/Finance is a plus.
  3. This position must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance.
  4. Knowledge and actionable skills related to Project Management and Business Accounting.
  5. Strong self-management, task and time management, and organizational skills.
  6. Ability to display efficiency and effectiveness on both individual and team responsibilities.
